Care for the family has launched Quidz In a six session course to counter debt among young people. The aim is to help parents talk to and educate their children on issues such as dudgeting, saving and how to distinguish good loans from bad ones. www.careforthefamily.org.uk
Christians Against Poverty has launched CAP Volunteer Centres throughout the UK to enable local churches to help the poor in their communities.
Volunteers receive training to operate at the samre level of efficiency and professionalsim as a standard CAP Centre, while costs for a local church can be significantly reduced. www.capuk.org.
