October Update
Tuesday 14th October
Hi everyone,
As many of you know we didn’t actually make it to Brazil on 14th September as the doctor would not allow Duncan to travel until he had had some medical tests to diagnose the reason for some arm pain. After three ECGs and two appointments he is now free to travel with a diagnosis of angina and some medication. The cancellation of our flights and the planned Kairos courses in Brazil just one day before departure was very emotional for us.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your prayers, support and encouragement over the last month. God has been great. His timing has been perfect and we have been amazed at answers to pray re hospital appointments and the opportunity to do some supply teaching.
 We expect to travel to Thailand on Friday 17 th Oct and will take part in two conferences at the Kairos International Consultation. It will gather facilitators and national co-ordinators from 23 countries. We are really pleased that Pastor Alexandre from Brazil will be meeting us in Chiang Mai on Saturday.
Duncan also has a CT angio-gram on the 4th November after our return from Thailand and before our planned trip to Brazil on 9th November. We have now rescheduled our timetable and expect to be in Goiania until 15th December. Please pray for :-
- our health (and especially for a good result from the CT angiogram in November)
- safe travel (and for the insurance on the cancellations to come through and quickly!)
- for our networking with the Kairos family in Thailand; and for Alexandre in Thailand.
- for the arrangements of all the Kairos courses in Brazil: participants, facilitators, churches and for outcomes whereby we mobilise Brazilians to unreached people group in Brazil and beyond . We want to establish a firm base for CursoKairos in Goiania with trained head facilitators.
- our future plans for Kairos in Brazil and beyond including a Taster course in Portugal in January
- our family at home
