~ A safe place for healing ~

 Thursday 19th January

'Deeper Healing Day'

10.00 am - 4.00 pm   £30.00

Led by members of the Acorn Team

What is Deeper Healing and why is this day for me?

Deeper healing is the experience in which the Holy Spirit restores health to the deepest areas of our lives by dealing with the root cause of our hurt and pain.

Many of us continue to recycle or repeat hurts we have received over the years. A Deeper Healing Day enables us to be listened too and prayed with in order to bring release and peace through prayer.

During the morning each person sees two of the prayer ministry team for 45 minutes.

When you are not being seen you can simply enjoy the space.

You may want to read the notes you have been given and look up scriptures that may be helpful for you or just rest.

We will do our best to create a safe place, a quiet place, a place to assist you on your own healing journey.

You will never be asked to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.

A Deeper Healing Day is not counselling but is an opportunity to listen to ourselves and God in a safe and welcoming place.

In the afternoon there is an opportunity for you to receive group prayer; some of the team may receive a scripture verse for you or helpful words but only you can tell if these words are relevant to your own situation.

The day closes with Holy Communion. If you feel you need more prayer we have our Tuesday Healing Service every week where you can come and see our Chaplain or ministry team for additional prayer support.

The day is designed to help you come to a place of peace and wholeness.

Lunch is included ~ refreshments available throughout the day.

 Thursday 9th February

In February the theme is: ‘You are mine.’

that God wants us to be.   We shall be looking at subjects such as “Who am I?”

“What stops me being the person God wants me to be?”

10.00 am - 4.00 pm    £30.00

Friday 16th - Sunday 18th March

'Journey into Healing'

£195.00 Fully residential

Starting late Friday afternoon and finishing after lunch on Sunday.

Are you feeling stuck in your personal or spiritual life?

Do you want to look at how you relate to others?

Are you out of touch with a part of yourself?

Then this could be for you!

The weekend is designed to help us to be open to ourselves, to each other and to the healing work of the Holy Spirit for growth and healing.

Led by The Journey into Healing Team.   All leaders have training in psychotherapy.

Journey into Healing rests on the conviction that God is already bringing healing and wholeness to those who come for help.  Prayer and spiritual growth is nurtured.
The healing journey of the ‘wounded healer’ is valued in our workshops.
