Monthly Lunches
Lunches are held in two locations in Farnham each month :
- in Central Farnham at the Brightwells Gostrey Day Centre, for those living on their own in the centre of town;
- in Hale, at Bethel Baptist Church, for those living alone in Heath End, Hale, Weybourne and Badshot Lea.
A lovely roast meal is provided, which is prepared, cooked and served on the premises by a team of volunteers from local churches. It is an excellent opportunity for meeting old and making new friends; transport to and from your home by car or minibus is available if required. These lunches are very popular and pre-booking is essential.
We provide:
- A roast meal freshly cooked on the premises.
- Transport included in the price.
- Fellowship and the opportunity to meet others.
- Information about other activities, including special church services.

Our Team of Volunteers:
- Are drawn from the churches in the area.
- Are led by a head cook with two food preparation assistants.
- Have approx 5 people to serve and wash up.
- Serve on a rota, approx 1 month in 3.
- Are offered training in Food Hygiene.
- Use modern minibuses with disabled access.
- Are given MIDAS Training if they wish to drive the Minibuses.
- Enjoy lunch with our guests
