Weydon School Christian Focus Week
 The past few weeks have been a busy time for the FCCT youth team, particularly in relation to their work into Weydon School.
In the early part of January the team did a series of lessons for Year 11 students based on the subject of ‘What Happens When We Die?’ Lessons with this age group are always a great time to discuss and debate various issues and find out what young people think about such subjects.
Two weeks later the youth team visited Weydon School again and did a week of RE lessons for years 7, 8 and 9. These lessons were based on subjects such as ‘How Do Christians Use the Bible?’, ‘How Can God Be Known?’ and ‘Christian Values in a Changing World’. Apart from having an unexpected day off on the Thursday due to the snow, the week of lessons went very well and all the team reported a very positive response from both pupils and teachers.
ATTENTION: At the time of writing, the Christian Focus Fortnight at Heath End
School was about to take place (begins 26th Feb). Please pray for the team during those two weeks that they are well received by both pupils and teachers alike.

The next prayer meeting will be on 16th March and will be held at Farnham Castle in the Winchester Room.
The meeting will start at 8.00pm and finish at 9.30pm.

Quiet Mornings
A small group meets monthly for a time of quiet reflective prayer.
We use scripture, music and creation to inspire our thinking. It is a time to rest in God’s presence, with a focus on being rather than doing. For us it has become a valued time of refreshment in our busy schedules.
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month (but note exceptions in Jan and April).
Time: 10.00am -11.30am

Following a very busy Christmas the team is now planning what looks like being a very busy Easter period. Schools are booking lessons and assemblies with enthusiasm.
We are in need of enthusiastic help. If you can spare 15 minutes for an assembly or 1 hour for a lesson we would love to hear from you.
