ZAMBIA VULTURE FUND - DECISION TIME 

The judgment on how much Zambia will have to pay Donegal International, the vulture fund that has sued it in the British courts, has been brought forward. The hearing will now take place on the morning of Tuesday 24th April at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. News will appear on our website when we have it.

DEBT AND POWER CONFERENCE

Jubilee Debt Campaign's 2007 Debt and Power conference is this Saturday, 28th April, in London. As well as speakers from Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia, Mali, Congo and the World Bank, the programme includes workshops on:

- The African struggle for economic justice

THE WORLD CAN'T WAIT - 2 JUNE

Two years after world leaders were given a huge mandate to Make Poverty History, we're joining up with over 70 other organisations in the UK to tell this year's G8 meeting in Germany that 'The World Can't Wait' for urgent action. Campaigners around the country will be raising their voices against poverty in the run up to the G8, culminating in a rally on the banks of the Thames on 2 June in London. JDC @ SUMMER FESTIVALS

We're on the look-out for debt campaigners at Glastonbury or Greenbelt festivals this summer. Our volunteer tickets for Glastonbury are all allocated, but we'd love to hear from enthusiastic festival-goers who already have their own ticket and could spend a couple of hours (or more) campaigning with us. Plus we are still looking for people who would like a discounted ticket for Greenbelt in exchange for helping on our stall for a few hours each day.
