Acorn Christian Foundation was founded as the Acorn Christian Healing Trust in 1983 by Bishop Morris and Anne Maddocks

The Director is Revd Dr. Russ Parker

Russ is an Anglican priest who has been working for Acorn for 15 years, in the last 10 years as the Director. He is author of a number of books, including 'Healing Dreams', 'Healing Death's Wounds' (with Michael Mitton) 'Free to Fail', 'The Wild Spirit' and Dream Stories. Russ is available as a speaker at Christian Conferences.
