Becoming a Volunteer

By being a volunteer with Farnham ASSIST, you will be serving the over 60's, as part of a team of more than 100 volunteers drawn from churches of all denominations and the local community.
Whether you work as part of a larger group (e.g. helping in the monthly lunches) or individually (e.g. as a One to One volunteer visiting an older person), you will enjoy being part of this important work.
Whether you can offer an hour a month or an afternoon a week, your time could make a real difference to an older person living alone, in a nursing home or in other sheltered accommodation.
Where appropriate, we will gladly provide training for you. We have a wide range of activities, and new volunteers will enable us to expand this vital work.
As we take our responsibilities to the over 60s very seriously, CRB checks are undertaken for all volunteer roles. If you are interested in volunteering with Farnham ASSIST, please either contact us on 01252 717710 or complete the form below.
Please note this only applies to people living in the Farnham area.
