Projeto Adora Brasil

Is a music band who believe they have been called by God
“The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed”. Romans 8 v 19
The following is translated by Jan from Romis Galvao’s personal testimony:

“The project was born out of an experience which God gave us at Christmas 2002, in a bar in the city of Cabo Frio in Rio de Janeiro state.
We were there that night just to get something to eat, when the owner of the bar invited us to the special Christmas Eve meal that he had prepared for his other guests. God asked me to speak to those people about Jesus. So I asked the owner if I could give a Word. And there in a very special way the message of the Cross came to those people. While I was speaking the Presence of God filled that place, creating a melting of our hearts in such a powerful way that many started to cry. It was as if God had embraced us. We felt His Love being revealed to each one of those people. In that moment, I asked everyone to shut his or her eyes so that together we could pray the prayer that Jesus taught us. It was marvellous.
A few days later, the bar owner found us and said that previously that night some people shared with him that the year 2003 would be a year of re-evaluation of his live - whether or not it was pleasing to God.
We began to be convicted that God wanted us to enthrone Him in the streets, in the city squares, on the beaches and in public places, because we believe that revival doesn’t limit itself within four walls but will go out to the lost – wherever they are.
We received a word from God to go out into the cities and put it into practise but we didn’t know how to do it. Then there was an open door…………..

Sharing this word with a friend, he was moved by God to make available an electric power supply which had been made for this purpose. And with this we have been to the streets with a team of worshippers, in partnership with churches from the cities involved, calling forth the Kingdom of God through the worship, (for He is enthroned in the midst of the praises of His People), preaching the good news of the cross, praying for the sick and casting out demons. We believe this is what we were called to: to practise the priesthood of all believers.

This CD (“Jesus – this nation wants to see you”) is the fruit of all the revelations that God has given to us since we decided to go and meet the lost.”
