Christian Focus Weeks

An opportunity to teach all the students in Farnham Heath End and Weydon Schools through RE Lessons and Assemblies.

• In Weydon we taught years 7-9.
• In Farnham Heath End we taught years 7-11.

Weydon year 7 Lessons were taken by “The Street Bible” theatre team, performing key events from the Bible.

RE Lessons

Over the past few years we have been able to go into both Farnham Heath End and Weydon schools to take RE Lessons throughout the year. All Lessons tie into the School Curriculum.

Lesson themes include:

• ‘Who is Jesus?’
• ‘Church'
• 'Church Unity’
• ‘Christian Values’
• ‘What is Christian'
• 'Worship’
• ‘Creation’
• ‘The Beatitudes’
• and many more.

Assemblies

Farnham Heath End School

This team see the same year group once every half term; starting with them in year 7 they are now going into year 10. They also see other year groups throughout the year.

Weydon School

This team go in at the beginning of the year to introduce themselves to all year groups.
They see years 7-9 during The Christian Focus Week.

Both teams try to make the Assemblies thought provoking and challenging.
